“Everything about our stay at Castel Hörtenberg was perfect. The staff are kind and very attentive, as well as knowledgable in each of their areas of interest. The rooms were clean and beautiful, and the hotel is a short walk to everything in town including the cable car and transit stations. The spa and pool area are wonderful as well! The staff also helped organize (at an additional cost) an early takeaway breakfast of apples and brioche for an event we were hosting with our wedding. They went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you to everyone who made our stay special!”

“In 10 minutes walking from the city center this hotel has its own FREE parking. Decent breakfasts are included and you may order additional items from their breakfast menu (omelets are free and avocado sandwiched and crepes are extra). Multilingual staff (Italian, German, English, French) is always ready to assist. Commodious rooms with separate sitting areas, good meal choices at their restaurants. Quiet neighborhood, gated territory with the key card access”

“A little outside the town centre but oh so quiet and peaceful and only 10 minutes walk to Piazza Walther. A quality restoration of this old castle and the wonderful, friendly and efficient staff make this a truly 5* experience. Though the ground are small they are beautifully maintained and the heated pool was a welcome pleasure in the lovely weather. I didn't try the spa but I can only assume that it too would live up to the high standards of the property. The food at breakfast and in the Meridiane restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately didn't get to enjoy Le Segrete fine dining restaurant. Highly recommend this lovely hotel. Highly recommend”

“Outstanding beautiful hotel in Bolzano at the periphery of the old city. Renovated only several years ago - this a truly a 5+++ star hotel. Beautiful rooms, great pool, excellent restaurants (the restaurant in the basement is especially recommended), and mainly - outstanding service! Of note - the service we received from Hamza at the reception and from Davide in the restaurants was very professional, personal and friendly, giving us the true feeling of home. We will definitely return to the Castle and will be our preferred place to stay in our future visits to South Tyrol.”
